Turns out, he knew and introduced me to the editor of the Boston fanzine Vendetta. I sent a writing sample and was invited to submit a review for the next issue. And so my short-lived career as a music critic/journalist began. After contributing to four consecutive issues, I realized that I enjoyed making music more than writing about it.
